On Friday 30th March 2007 Krash, Bang, Wallop, Thud and Boom travelled down to London to perform at a reception that Scope had organised. It was to celebrate the signing at the United Nations of the first International Human rights charter for disability.

We arrived at Chester Railway Station at 8.30.am to board the train to go to Crewe at 9.19.am. British Rail staff were really helpful at each stage of the Journey they met us with ramps.

George Lamb who arranged transport to and from the venue for everyone met us at London Euston Station.

The venue was top secret until we got to London and then we were told that we were playing at the Centre point tower in London.

Sean Howe was unable to play with the band because he was playing in Manchester the same night, so a friend of Sean’s called Chris Drury took his place. Chris is hoping to join Krash, Bang, Wallop, Thud and Boom as a volunteer to help with developing the band further. After the two performances many of the guests came over to talk to us and there were some famous people who we were introduced to. Nicholas Owen (the news reader)

Jenny Agutter (the actress), Sian Lloyd (weather girl), Ade Adepitan, (actor sportsman), Cherie Blair, the Prime Ministers wife

This is only the second time we have performed before an audience; the first time we played was at Chester Gateway.
