The Morgan Foundation Sponsor Link Up.

Link Up have been given £6000 by The Morgan Foundation to help with their overheads over the next 3 years. The activities Link Up do are funded by the members who take part. However we incur office and administration costs like anybody else and it has drained the clubs finances over the years. It is a great relief therefore, to recieve this grant, and we are extremely grateful to the Morgan Foundation for it. This is the second time we have recieved support from the foundation as 3 years ago they provided us with funds to help furnish our mini theatre. Jane Harris is the Administrator at the Morgan Foundation and she said "Having visited you office and browsed the website, I would like to say how impressed I am with the standard of the site and also congratulate the members on the way in which the club has developed and the wide ranging and interesting activities that are undertaken"
Clubs like ours depend on external funding to survive and it is very difficult to secure funds for overheads as most funders ask for 'projects' to fund, so thanks again to the Morgan Foundation for their on-going support.
